Nine semesters, 4 and a half years, 2 schools, 3 jobs, 1 wedding, 1 devastating loss of my brother, 5 moves, 2 pregnancies, 378,246 tears, and thousands in tuition later, I have a bachelor’s degree! It wasn’t easy, but it definitely wasn’t impossible. I set goals for myself and accomplished them and at last, a huge weight is lifted off of my shoulders. To be honest, I don’t know what I’m going to do with all of this free time. Starting this new business came at a perfect time because I can help Matt out more with the behind the scenes stuff! Funny how God works these things out perfectly!
Over the weekend we drove 5 and a half hours to Arizona so that we could enjoy a mini vacation, while also allowing me to attend the graduation ceremony with the entire ASU class of 2017! Roen did great on our drive, napping 2 hours each way, and we were so happy with our first stay at an Airbnb! We enjoyed eating out at new places and stopping in Phoenix, Tempe, and Mesa. While Matt golfed, I got to meet with a mom I met through Instagram for breakfast, then visited with a friend from highschool at the park! Aside from our drive, we didn’t do too much sight seeing, but it was a fun quick vacation before we become a family of 4! Next destination: Tennessee!
A big thank you to my mom, who selflessly paid for my whole college tuition, allowing me to graduate debt free!
Another thanks to my husband, who stood by my side during finals and pregnancy hormones!
And finally, thank you to all of my friends and family who supported me along the way and believed that I could do it!
