The name Dockatot has been circling around in the parenting world for awhile now, and ever since I got pregnant, I knew I had to have one for Gryffin. If you haven’t heard, this brand makes the best and comfiest all in one multi-functional lounger, co-sleeper and playtime lounger.
Im sure it comes at no surprise that I love sleeping with my babies! I believe that there are so many benefits to keeping them close, especially in the first 3 months of life, so cuddling them all night long is a no-brainer for me! However, even though they’re tiny, newborns move and kick A LOT in their sleep, which is why many choose not to co-sleep. Dockatot takes care of that problem because while small enough to fit in the bed, it keeps the little ones enclosed so that their limbs can’t escape to torment you throughout the night. It also keeps my mind at ease knowing that my little guy can’t roll out and off of the bed, and that it’s made with a breathable fabric. Babies also love it because it comes close to their bodies, so they don’t flail their arms wide open every time they hear a noise. It’s kinda like a big hug for them! Gryffin has also enjoyed hanging out in it whenever Matt or I need to get stuff done around the house. He stares at the cute little animal toys that hang above. Also, if you’ve been following along on Instagram, you’ve seen in my stories that Gryff hasn’t been the easiest baby. Whiles he’s finally outgrown the 2-3 hour fussy night fits, he’s still keen on sleeping in our arms or by our side. So when I put him down to sleep in the Dockatot, I was prepared for him to wake up at any second, but he slept the whole duration of his nap in it! Major win for this mama! Aside from that, Dockatot makes an excellent travel bed for them. It’s small and lightweight, so you can bring it anywhere you need to go so that your baby can sleep comfortably and safely. Even though Gryffin is a big boy, the Deluxe Dockatot will suit him until 8 months. It’s natural and made with 100% cotton and OEKO-TEX certified. There’s also an option to add a bar with cute animals for them to stare at. This should be on every new moms baby registry to help aid in the scary transition for babies from the womb to this big world!
